Relax and recharge

The Lakes is a lifestyle. A place for families, friends and colleagues to come together, with outdoor activities, a spa and acres of green to rest, relax and recharge in.

Each home looks onto outstanding natural beauty of wild, plush greenery, watercourses and stunning lake views.

Modern Design Scheme

Pyro + Echo were contracted to supply a 20mm wood plank tile for use on the external terrace areas.

Working closely with Margaret Ellison Interiors, Pyro + Echo's expertise in flooring design and installation answered the design brief. By matching the colour palette of our client’s interior timber flooring, we were able to create a cohesive look for their home.

Expressing the beauty of natural wood in a hard-wearing porcelain material, Paddock Planks were chosen.

Blending the nobility of wood with tasteful openness in a crisp and contemporary style, they bring touches of original beauty and a refreshing spirit to the modern design scheme.

The terrace tiles were fitted using a range of height-adjustable pedestals to allow full access to services below, making future maintenance easy.

Connected to nature

For the façade, 1800x900mm porcelain slabs where used to clad the house.

Selected from the Precast Concrete range, this elegant tile delivers fundamental light and reflectivity. It’s muted colours and fine textures adds authenticity.

Pyro + Echo also specified and supplied the unique façade fixing system which enabled on-site operatives to quickly fit and secure the slabs.

The result is in a home that’s firmly rooted in and connected to nature, ingrained in its natural surroundings.
